Who we are
rumcake is a trading name of Dimension Warriors Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13327493). Registered office details are available on the Companies House register.
The products
rumcake sells macOS audio plugins (Audio Unit and VST3). Each purchase grants one (1) personal or commercial license for the plugin you bought, for use on your own machines. The license key is bound to your email and is verified locally with an RSA signature. No activation server is contacted at runtime.
Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle.com Market Ltd handles payment, currency conversion, sales tax/VAT and invoicing on our behalf. The Paddle Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. See paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms.
Refunds and cancellation
License keys are serialised to your email at the time of purchase and the digital product is delivered immediately on completion of checkout. Because of this, the 14-day right to cancel for digital content does not apply once download has begun, where you have given express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel (Regulation 37 and Schedule 3 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; the loss-of-right disclosure is the pre-contract information in Schedule 2, item (m)). This does not affect your statutory rights: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our software must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, and faulty software is entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Use of the software
You may use our plugins to produce commercial music, sound design, audio post-production, or any other lawful purpose. You may not redistribute the plugin binary, the license keys, or the audio samples. You may not reverse engineer the activation mechanism to bypass licensing.
Updates
Updates are included for the life of the product. A new major version may be sold separately; if so, existing licensees will receive a discount.

Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
